A:Shipixen is an app that generates boilerplate code with your branding. You get the git repository & can modify the code as you want.
Q:What do I get if I pre-order?
A:With the pre-order, you get a 50% discount on the final price and a 1-year license. You are also one of the first to get access to the app when it comes out.
Q:How does the license work?
A:The license is valid for one year. After that, you can renew it if you want to keep using Shipixen.
Q:How many websites can I generate?
A:If you have a license, you can generate as many websites as you want.
Q:How does the blog work?
A:The blog is built with Next.js & MDX. You can write your posts in Markdown & they will be rendered as HTML.
Q:Is Shipixen using TypeScript?
A:Yes, Shipixen is built with TypeScript.
Q:Where can I deploy the generated code?
A:We make a deployment to Vercel for you as part of the generation process. However, since you own the code, you can deploy it on any host that supports Next.js.
Q:What's the tech stack in the boilerplate?
A:The boilerplate is built with React, Next.js 14 with App Router, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript & MDX powered by Contentlayer. The UI library is made with Shadcn UI and icons are from Lucide.
Q:Can I use Shipixen for payments, Stripe, etc.?
A:The output doesn't currently include any payment integration; it'll only create a landing page, blog & pricing page. You'll have to add the integration yourself.
Q:What platforms will Shipixen work in?
A:Shipixen currently works on macOS only. We are working towards creating a web version of Shipixen in the near future.
